With over 15 years' experience in journalism, I am a freelance writer and regular contributor to many of the world's best known news and magazine titles including Vogue, The Guardian, The Times & Sunday Times, The Telegraph and more. My work and interests have taken me all over, from Iraq, Afghanistan and Westminster to London Fashion Week and back home to gritty and glorious Manchester.
As a sought-after ghostwriter, I am currently working on a memoir for the world's biggest publishing house, Penguin (Transworld). I have also been a part-time lecturer to the journos of the future at Manchester Metropolitan University and continue to provide bespoke media training, commissions, PR and copywriting services to public and private businesses and individuals alongside my journalism.
I spent much of my earlier career heading up political coverage in Manchester, UK, where I live with my young family.
