With over 15 years' experience as a writer and journalist, I am a Sunday Times best-selling, award-nominated ghostwriter and a regular contributor to many of the world's best known news and magazine titles including The Guardian, The Times & Sunday Times, Vogue, Glamour and many more. My work and interests have taken me all over, from Iraq, Afghanistan and Westminster to London Fashion Week, into the homes and lives of regular people and pubic figures and back home to gritty and glorious Manchester.
As a sought-after ghostwriter of memoir, my writing has been published by some of the world's leading publishing houses, featured on The Sunday Times bestsellers list and is award nominated. My approach focuses on the intricate portrayal of people and is committed to inhabiting and amplifying their voices through detailed, compassionate and close, careful work and storytelling.
I have previously been a part-time lecturer to the journos of the future at Manchester Metropolitan University and continue to provide bespoke media training, commissions, PR and copywriting services to public and private clients who need help to amplify the voices of themselves or their businesses.
I spent much of my earlier career heading up political coverage in Manchester, UK, where I live.
